Ni Burmese.
York Alley delivered a fully optimized, story-driven website for Milwaukee’s first and only authentic Burmese restaurant.
The new site captures the warmth of the family-run business, showcases its unique cuisine, and builds an inviting digital presence for both new and loyal customers.
Project Overview:
Ni Burmese opened in early 2025, bringing the rich, soulful flavors of Myanmar to Milwaukee for the first time. The owners wanted more than a website—they needed a digital home that told their story, highlighted their family recipes, and made it easy for customers to order online or get in touch.
Our challenge: create a clean, visually rich website that reflects the culture, pride, and authenticity of the restaurant’s ownership, while integrating online ordering and an inviting, accessible UX for visiting customers.
What We Delivered:
Full Website Design & Build
Photography & On-Site Art Direction
Copywriting & Brand Storytelling
Menu Integration & Online Ordering Setup
Layout & UX Enhancements
Our Approach:
Launching Ni Burmese’s first website was a true digital debut. We built a platform to showcase their culture, cuisine, and story—while inviting Milwaukee to experience Burmese food as it’s meant to be.
We developed a bright, inviting website that:
Brings Burmese cuisine online in Milwaukee with intentional design, easy site navigation, and a welcoming brand voice.
Drives both in-person and online sales through integrated ordering, high-quality photography, and clear calls to action.
Celebrates the family’s story and culture by weaving authentic copy and visuals into a narrative that honors their heritage and recipes.
A Digital Debut.
And arrival to the Milwaukee Foodie Scene.
We took Ni Burmese online for the first time with a digital presence that is bright, modern, and unmistakably theirs.
Seamless and Simple.
Complexity should live in the flavors, not the UX.
An inviting menu highlighting authentic delicacies and homespun favorites bursts with variety and color, while an easy-to-use online ordering system keeps things effortless for customers.
Honoring Heritage.
True stories and dishes made with care.
We drafted copy and captured vibrant visuals to further tell the story behind the recipes. We aimed to celebrate a family’s heritage, connecting Milwaukee with Burmese traditions in a way that feels both personal and lasting.
How are Things are Going now?
Ni Burmese is now making full use of their optimized e-commerce setup—offering lunch specials and online pickup for daily orders through the site.
Foodie fans say they are loving that they can order Ni Burmese’s cuisine straight from their phones whenever they have a craving for something delicious and homemade.
Testimonial:
“It was so easy working with Drew and the York Alley team! They had our site up and working in just 3 weeks, and everything looks great. I’ve seen a nice stream of daily online ordering since then. I am very thankful for the work they’ve done for us. Thanks again! Visit us anytime!”
